1918 Prophecy

The Downfall of Christianity

Introduction by D.M. In Charles Taze Russell’s book, The Finished Mystery (written posthumously) it states that “in the year 1918, when God destroys the churches wholesale and the church members by millions, it shall be that any that escape shall come to the works of Pastor Russell to learn the meaning of the downfall of Christianity.

Charles Russell had a problem, during the time of his “ministry,” with Christian pastors who were exposing his heresy. Thus, this book, The Finished Mystery. It’s basically filled with anathema’s against the clergy. We will, in due time, get this book on our website, and give an explanation of the entire book.

Here is the link regarding the churches and it’s members being destroyed wholesale.

Here is a question we can ask our JW visitor:

1. Regarding the downfall of Christianity: Were the churches and its members truly destroyed? In 1918, nowhere in the newspapers, does it indicate that the Christian churches have been destroyed, and it’s members killed. Is this a false prophecy? Was Jesus truly guiding Russell, and the Watchtower organization?
